THE WICK TRIMMER
 
Do you need a wick trimmer?
My response would be "maybe not".
For most candles, if your hand fits into the vessel, the cold wick tip can simply be pinched off and discarded. You will have to wash the black off your fingers and not get it on your clothes.
But for deeper vessels where your fingers can’t comfortably reach, that’s when a wick trimmer becomes genuinely useful.
 
This wick trimmer helps keep your candles burn cleanly and safely.
The long handles and angled head make it easy to reach into deeper vessels and trim the wick to about ¼ inch before lighting. The trimmer is 7 inches long.

THE CANDLE LIGHTER
This rechargeable candle lighter is the one I use myself and  it works perfectly for jars of all sizes but especially when your candle is in a deep jar. Once that candle burns down to about half way it is much easier, and safer, to use this candle lighter
It has a flexible part for convenience. Fully extended it is 10 inches long.
It has a display to show real-time battery charge to give you time to recharge
